I saw you crumpled on that CVS floor
I wanted to just go about my business
Like everyone else does
But the Holy Spirit said to go back in…
Just let her plug her phone in and charge it
And so I did
There are no accidents
Your big sparkly eyes
Your brilliant mind
Made me love you like you were my own kid
I hope you will hold the words I spoke inside
And not do like I did
Don’t wait ’til you’re old
